Hashem Is Protecting Us
The pesukim in Tehillim describe how much Hashem guards us. ה' שומריך, ה' ישמרך מכל רע, ה' ישמור צאתך ובואך. It is so comforting to know that at all times Hashem is protecting us. It is true that people sometimes get harmed, but that's not because Hashem wasn't protecting, it's because the people needed to go through that for their own benefit. Hashem is always involved, every step of the way. If a person is not meant to be harmed, nothing can possibly harm him, no matter what situation he's in.
Wherever we are, we are always being guarded by Hashem
