Purpose in the Toil: Knowing Nothing is in Vain

Even the mistakes that a person makes are from Hashem. The sefer Chikekeh Lev writes in a teshuva, where he was discussing a certain Sefer Torah which was found to have mistakes, כי מאת ה' היתה זאת– this was from Hashem, as this Torah had been checked numerous times before this and nobody found these mistakes. If someone did make a mistake, he should not get depressed thinking about how he should have avoided it etc. And if someone gets affected negatively due to someone else’s mistake, he should react calmly, recognizing that Hashem made happen exactly what was supposed to happen. We’re not talking about gross negligence here, we’re talking about normal, every day life where people mean to do the right thing but they just make mistakes.
Everything happens from Hashem, even our mistakes. And therefore, we should accept all of them with love.
