The Journey of Forty Years: Lessons in Guidance and Direction

The Gemara says in Masechet Berachot daf 55b, if a person had a dream and he is worried it is a bad dream, but he doesn’t remember what he dreamed, he should go to shul and, during Birkat Kohanim, he should say, “ריבונו של עולם, אני שלך וחלומותי שלך – Master of the Universe, I am Yours and my dreams are Yours,” and he continues with a tefila that all should be good. The person is supposed to finish his tefila the same moment the kohanim finish theirs so the kahal could answer Amen to his request as well. The Gemara continues by saying if the person has extra time after he finishes this tefila before the kohanim finish, then he should say…. אדיר במרום שוכן בגבורה – a praise of Hashem that He is mighty in Heaven and dwells with strength.
Everything we have comes from Hashem and it is of the highest importance to always feel that way!
