Never Helpless: When One Door Closes, Hashem Opens Another

Never Helpless
If people in need were hoping to get help from a certain source and that source didn’t come through, those people might begin to feel helpless. Fortunate for us, we never have to feel helpless, because our source of help is always available. If someone we ask refuses to help us, all that means is that he is not the messenger that Hashem wanted to use. Although we may have thought that that person was the one to help, Hashem knew the whole time that he wasn’t. We never know from where our help will come, and therefore, we should never feel that if it doesn’t come from a certain place or individual then we’re helpless. We could be thinking for months that our assistance was going to come from one place and, the whole time, Hashem knew otherwise. And finally, at the end, Hashem reveals His plan to us, and we see how little we really knew.
There’s always ways to be helped. We might not know them, but Hashem does.
