Yaakov’s Bitachon: Why He Asked for Nothing from Lavan

There are many times in life when we are confronted with circumstances that call for us to do the opposite of the hishtadlut necessary to attain what we need. Those who fully believe in Hashem’s control will rise to the occasion and do what He wants, although it may seem that they are going to lose out as a result.
The highest level of bitachon is to do Hashem’s will, even when it appears that we are going to lose as a result, and trust that we never lose by following Hashem.
