Accepting the situations Hashem gives us is a great avodah and the happier we go through them, the greater the rewards will be. People who have gone through it have seen time and time again how Hashem has come through for them in the way that was best. They were not able to afford the wedding they may have wanted but they recognized the hand of Hashem giving them exactly what they needed.
