We know that when we do chesed for others, Hashem gives us more chesed. But when it is so clear Hashem is giving us that chesed as a direct result of the chesed that we did, it gives us so much chizuk. We feel like we are getting a hug from Hashem, kavayachol, as if He is saying I see how hard you’re trying to help others, now I’m going to make your life easier as a result.
When we do chesed, we get chesed, and when we see Hashem’s loving hand involved, that’s the biggest chesed.
