Miracles Today: Our Deeds as the Catalyst for Wonder
Parashat Shoftim: Ashrecha!
The Kedushat Levy writes, at the beginning of this week’s parasha Shoftim that Hashem desires to judge the Jewish People on Rosh Hashanah with an abundance of kindness and mercy, but first, we have to act to others with an abundance of kindness and mercy. As well, we have to judge our friends favorably, the same way that we want to be judged. One of the ways to accomplish this is to internalize the value of every single Jew.
Every teacher, before he or she wakes up in the morning to do their avodat hakodesh, gets a special message directly from Hashem. It’s a one word message in Hebrew – Ashrecha, which means You are fortunate.
Shabbat Shalom!!
