Tailor-Made Families: Accepting Your Circumstances

We should never say, “If only I would have had this, or, if only I would have been in that family, I would have been better off,” because Hashem is the one setting up our circumstances, and He is the one giving us our tests. If this is the life He put us in, it means that this is the only way we can become the Tzadikim He wants us to become. Our situations never take away from our spirituality. They enable us to achieve what we are meant to achieve.
We are to seek out Hashem, from wherever He puts us. That is the only way we will achieve what we are meant to achieve.
