We know that having Emunah in Hashem gives a person more peace of mind. The Baal Emunah understands there’s so much that is out of his control. He knows even what appears to be the doing of man is really just the camouflage, and it’s only Hashem who’s in control. He doesn’t waste his time second guessing decisions; he doesn’t lose sleep over the outcomes of those decisions. When a person’s Emunah is very strong, he’ll be able to have Bitachon in Hashem, which is complete reliance on Hashem, internalizing that we are nothing and results are produced solely by Him. Bitachon is so powerful, in its merit, Hashem brings salvations.
If we can improve on our Bitachon, we can access extra Siyata Dishamaya that would not have been available otherwise.
