The Only Say: Hashem in Charge of Every Outcome
Hashem wants us to know that He is in charge of every hishtadlut that we make and He is the only one to determine the outcome. No one else has any say. And therefore, when we do our part the way He tells us to do it, we should feel totally calm and at ease, understanding that our job has really been completed.
Our efforts are just to fulfill our requirement, but the results are only in the hands of Hashem. And therefore, when we finish our work week and stop right in the middle of everything to do the will of Hashem, we should feel calm and tranquil and experience a true and complete menucha on Shabbat.
