Story of Our Lives: Hashem is the One Who Acts
Parashat Teruma: The Story Of Our Lives
We are meant to make the efforts and Hashem is the one who actually gets things done. If we see a need in the community and it seems overbearing to take care of, all we have to do is go through the motions and, if it is a worthy project, Hashem will get it done. If a person is motivated to act with pure intentions, he’ll receive even more Heavenly help. We have so many wonderful organizations that have helped thousands of people. To run these organizations requires heroic efforts by hundreds of people. In many cases, they started from one person or one couple who were acting l'shem Shamayim. Those people never imagined that their efforts would be so far reaching, they did what they had to do and Hashem carried it the rest of the way.
We don’t have to have everything worked out exactly as to how we are going to accomplish our goals, but if we are motivated l’shem Shamayim and we put in our efforts, Hashem will help the rest of the way.
Shabbat Shalom!
