One way in which we can receive extra help from Hashem is by being moser nefesh. When we sacrifice of ourselves to do the will of Hashem, it triggers an outpouring of love from Hashem and blessing comes pouring in. People who were moser nefesh have seen with their own eyes the wondrous gifts that they have received as a result.
