Teshuva: Understanding Hashem's Deepest Desire
Hashem Wants Us
We say every day in the Amida the words, “הרוצה בתשובה – that Hashem desires our teshuva. When we say those words we should become filled with joy, recognizing the great love that Hashem has for us. He wants us to make teshuva so that He could be closer to us.
Hashem wants us close to Him. He wants us to grow. If we know this, it will give us chizuk to help us in any area we want to improve in.
