Your Unique Mission: Everyone Has a Purpose
We must remind ourselves that everyone is in this world to fulfill a very unique and specific mission. Only Hashem knows what that mission is, and He gives each one of us the exact circumstances we need to be in to fulfill it. If it would be any other way, we would be wasting our time here.
Whenever we have something we really want, but then we see Hashem wants it otherwise and we want to get depressed and complain, we could give Hashem the greatest gift, our will. We could say, “Hashem, if this is what You want, I will overcome my nature. I’ll continue to live on happily and trust in You.” If we could accomplish this, that attitude will give us so much strength here and its merits will give us untold reward in the future.
