Parashat Vayeshev: Cling to Hashem
The Boteach b'Hashem should ever lose money, he thanks Hashem for taking it the same way he did when he received it. He knows Hashem is only helping him. And if that's what he needs to fulfill his purpose here, he thanks Hashem for helping him to do so. He doesn't blame other people for his losses because he knows nobody else has any say other than Hashem.
To be able to thank and cling to Hashem, both during the times of open kindness and hidden kindness. Yosef attributed all of his success to Hashem-the high position he attained, his ability to interpret dreams, and he never blamed his brothers for being put in the difficult situation he was in. Wherever he was, whatever was going on in his life, he was always with Hashem. And that is how he became Yosef HaTzaddik.
