Exhausted Avenues: Fully Relying on Hashem for Yeshua
Parashat Yitro
When the Jewish People were offered the Torah, they said נעשה ונשמע, agreeing to do whatever it said without even knowing what it entailed. The Gemara says that attitude is something that is generally only used by the angels, completely nullifying themselves to whatever the will of Hashem is. The more a person recognizes who Hashem is, the more he’ll automatically want to give himself over to whatever His will is.
Keeping the mitzvot requires a lot of mesirut nefesh. Sometimes it gets extremely hard, but we should never forget that Hashem is there waiting to help us. All we need to do is ask.
Doing the will of Hashem definitely requires mesirut nefesh. We have to try as hard as we can and always ask for His help
Shabbat Shalom!
