Meditation that brings you closer to Hashem.

Jews were meditating before meditation was a brand.

The Torah describes Yitzchak walking out into a field toward evening, to meditate. The Mishnah records that the early pious ones would set aside a full hour before praying, simply to direct their hearts. King David filled Tehillim with the whole inner life: fear, longing, trust, wonder. And Rebbe Nachman of Breslov told his students to spend time every single day alone with Hashem, speaking simply, in their own words. He called it hisbodedus.

Even the language remembers. In Hebrew, neshama, the soul, and neshima, the breath, share one root, and the Torah's picture of the first human being is Hashem breathing a soul into him. Every slow breath you take is already a Jewish idea.

Meditation is not something Judaism needs to borrow. It is something Judaism remembers.

Let your breath be slow, and let your emunah grow.
