The Holiday of Emunah: Acquiring Faith in the Season of Pesach

Extra Siyata D’Shamaya
In the regular way of the world, if a person needs something, he'll do whatever he can to get it. If someone needs money, for example, he'll do whatever it takes to get the necessary funds he's seeking. It would be illogical for him to give away money if he needed it, or to forgive money that was owed to him. We know, however, money comes from Hashem, and sometimes it is precisely through giving away money that a person merits to get back even more. One of the ways of getting blessing in money is by giving tzedaka. By doing the opposite of what we need, we get more of it.
