Chazal tell us that Hashem is מזווג זיווגים. He makes matches every day, bringing couples together. But Hashem’s matchmaking does not stop there. He is making matches between all different types of people, giving them opportunities to do chesed or give charity or overcome a nisayon. It is our job to see the opportunities we are given and capitalize on them.
