Correct Decisions: Making the Right Choice in Hard Times

It is not uncommon that a person makes plans and things don’t work out the way they wanted. Sometimes we plan for a nice outing with the family and, last minute, something comes up to ruin it. Sometimes a person plans a trip and is so excited to go, and then something unexpected happens and the trip gets canceled. The examples are endless. When things like this happen, naturally it is very upsetting. However, a person could use these occasions to soar to great heights and earn unimaginable rewards.
Things don’t always work out the way we want and it could be a cause for a lot of frustration, but if instead we use our emunah to accept the way Hashem is dealing with us, in the words of the Chofetz Chaim, יתרומם עבור זה מדריגתו מאד מאד
