A Change in Perspective: The Enormous Power of a Few Words

If a person wants something done right and it’s very important to him, usually he’ll give his full effort and try to do it all by himself. He will leave no stone unturned until the job is done correctly. But as we know, not everything is in our control and, in fact, nothing is in our control. We could try as hard as we want and we could attempt to ensure that the job gets done exactly like we want it, but in the end, the will of Hashem always prevails. And, fortunately for us, that means we always get the best possible results. The best thing we could do is accept whatever results Hashem gives us and thank Him for doing what’s best. This is not easy to achieve, especially when what we are trying to accomplish has to do with our health. But if we work hard on convincing ourselves that Hashem is in charge and He always does what’s best, we’ll be able to do it. And the rewards for accepting ratzon Hashem are endless.
