Precious Privileges: The Privilege of Completing a Mitzvah

The Gemara [Nida 70:2] asks, what should a person do if he wants to become wealthy? The Gemara answers, he should pray hard and conduct all of his business dealings with emunah. That certainly includes being honest and upright, but it also includes responding with emunah when things don’t necessarily go the way he wanted them to go, recognizing that everything that happens involving money was caused directly by Hashem; there are no mistakes. Other people are never the cause of us losing out, no matter how much it appears that they were. When someone responds with emunah, that opens the pipelines of beracha.
Hashem has many ways of giving people money. It is incumbent on us to always conduct ourselves with emunah and b’ezrat Hashem, that attitude will bring beracha.
