Recognizing the Source: Responding to Yeshuot and Hardships
The Midrash on the pasuk in Hosheya, כי חסד חפצתי ולא זבח, says Hashem told us the chesed we do for one another is more beloved to Him than all of the thousand korbanot that Shlomo HaMelech offered to Him. And because chesed is so valuable, it does wonders for our neshama.
