Hashem Is Our Guardian
The gemara in Masechet Menachot says, the mezuzah which we put on our doorposts is a sign of Hashem’s protecting us. Rebbi Chanina said, “look how different the ways of Hashem are from human beings. A king usually sits in his palace and his servants protect him from the outside, but Hashem does the opposite, His servants sit in their homes and He protects them from the outside.”
Hashem is our guardian and we should feel so special that He is looking after us all the time.
