The Motions of Effort: Trying while Trusting

One message which is extremely valuable to always remember is that each person has many different jobs to perform with the life they are given in this world. Some of the jobs are very fulfilling and rewarding and some are not. We don’t get to pick the jobs, but we do get to choose if we will perform them the right way and be considered successful on our mission. Sometimes the job entails round the clock efforts of doing things on behalf of others, and other times the job entails being home all alone with very little to do. The key is to do the job at hand to the best of our ability because that’s the job Hashem knows we need to perform, and it is He who has given it to us.
