Always Need Help: Never Taking Presentation for Granted
During these days of Elul, we are trying to improve ourselves and make teshuva. One of the ways a person can achieve a great amount of teshuva is if he’s going through a hardship, or even one difficult circumstance, and instead of complaining, he says, “I know I deserve this. I accept it with love. Please Hashem, cleanse me of my sins because of it.” That would accomplish a great deal of kapara.
Accepting a difficulty and realizing it’s a kapara for the best will accomplish a form of teshuva and it is also a great exercise in emunah.
