Hashem is constantly watching over us. There are many different forms of danger out there in the world, but we can rest assured that Hashem is always in full control and nothing can ever happen to a person unless it is His will. If this realization would calm a person’s nerves, he would fulfill the great mitzvah of having bitachon in Hashem. When people are struggling to sleep at night because of the anxiety over what the future holds, it’s an opportunity for them to work on themselves and trust more in Hashem.
We are always only under His control. If we can trust in the fact that He will always do what is best for us, we can remove all of our unnecessary anxiety and enjoy the peace of mind that Hashem wants us to have.
