Purity for Body and Soul: The Anatomy of Mitzvot

Every mitzvah that we do brings kedusha and purity to both our neshamot as well as our physical bodies. Each mitzvah corresponds to a different limb, and it is those mitzvot which will give life to the limbs which they correspond to when Hashem revives the dead at Techiyat Hametim. We have no idea how much every mitzvah does for us. We don’t have the eyes to see, but there is no question that the mitzvot are imbuing us with kedusha and tahara, and they make a lasting impact on every part of our body.
We don’t have the ability to see all the effects of the mitzvot upon us, but we know that they are imbuing us with kedusha and tahara. They are the vehicle which brings us closer to Hashem and through them, and only them, we will be able to live on forever in the World of Truth.
