Bringing Kapara: The Death of a Tzaddik
Parashat Chukat & Balak
The Midrash says just like a korban needs the knowledge of its owner to be brought, so too when Hashem takes a tzaddik from this world to bring about kapara, it’s only if the tzaddik would want it. When a tzaddik becomes a korban, he is credited for saving countless lives and is elevated to the highest places in Gan Eden.
We don’t understand the ways of Hashem but we know everything He does is with such deep rooted calculations and always for our best.
