Hashem takes care of all of us. To know that He is here and is actively involved in every moment of our lives should give us so much strength. When we do get helped out, it’s Hashem, and when we don’t get helped, it’s also Hashem. Yes, He could have easily helped us. Why didn’t He? Because He knew it was for the best. We are never desperate. We never have to act desperately. We are called a nation of kings and princes and that is the way we are supposed to carry ourselves – always in a dignified manner, always acting according to the halacha. And that will happen if we can always recognize that Hashem is in control.
