Rising Above Mazal: Faith Over the Stars
RISE ABOVE MAZAL
The Gemara says in Masechet Niddah (p. 16 ) that when a child is conceived Hashem determines whether it will be strong or weak, wise or foolish, rich or poor, Yet the Gemara says later in the same Masechet on Daf 70, if a person wants to become wise or wealthy he should make efforts in doing so and pray to Hashem to grant them to him.
Prayer and good deeds can do wonders. Things could always change and, therefore, we must always have hope for the best results!
