The Infinite Neshama: Tapping into Your Potential

Hashem created us with tremendous potential. Each person has a piece of Hashem inside of him, a neshama that is infinite. Our Rabbis tell us, because of our physicality, we’re only able to access a small part of our neshama. The more spiritual we become, the more access we’ll have to it. There are Rabbis and holy individuals who are able to see things that we can’t. It’s because they have more access to their neshama, they are connected more with Hashem. The vehicle which Hashem gave us to connect to Him is the Torah. Every time we learn Torah, or perform one of its mitzvot, we are becoming more spiritual. Hashem has a plan for everyone to reach great heights, but we have to make the efforts to do so. Many squander their potential because they don’t trust in the authenticity of the Torah. They are not willing to put forth the efforts because they’re not convinced of its truth.
Let us accept upon ourselves, this Shavuot, to wholeheartedly accept our Torah, trust in Hashem, trust in His wisdom and we’ll be able to access the enormous potential we were given, by delving and growing in the Torah.
