The pasuk says, “וראו כל עמי הארץ כי שם ה' נקרא עליך ויראו ממך – the nations of the world will see that the Name of Hashem is upon you and they will fear you.” The Gemara explains that “the Name of Hashem upon you refers to the Tefillin on our heads, which bears one of the Names of Hashem. Some explain that it’s not just referring to the physical box and straps of the Tefillin, but it’s also referring to the message written inside the Tefillin: “שמי ישראל ה' אלוקנו ה' אחד.” When we live our lives with the recognition that there is nothing else other than Hashem, and we act accordingly, the nations of the world will be in awe of us.
Emunah gives a person strength and courage and enables him to stand up and face even the biggest challenges. And when we respond with emunah, we inspire people around us.
