What Hashem Cherishes: The Struggle of Raising Children

Parashat Achareh Mot:What Hashem Cherishes
There are people who are struggling in raising their children. They want all of their children to be righteous individuals who go in the ways of Torah and mitzvot, but some are veering off that path. Those people want to know, besides for the conventional approaches in helping their children, are there any segulot they can do to gain extra Heavenly help?
As the Midrash says, “כל אישה צנוע זוכה לבנים שראויים להיות כהנים גדולים– any woman who elevates herself to become a tzanua – someone who is called modest – will merit children who are fit to BECOME Kohanim Gedolim. Tzeniut is something that Hashem cherishes, as it says in the Pesikta Rabati, “אין לך חיבה לפני המקום מין הצניעות – there is nothing that Hashem loves more dearly than tzeniut. According to the difficulty is the reward. It might be hard to accomplish, but Hashem is here to HELP.
All of the mitzvot are for our benefit. If we do them the right way, we’ll receive the main rewards in the Next World and the side benefits in this World.
Shabbat Shalom!!
