Ask Hashem for Open Miracles on Chanukah
Ask for Open Miracles
During the rest of the year, when Hashem runs the world naturally, we are not supposed to ask Him to break nature - we ask Him to help us in the normal way of the world. But during the days of Hanukah, this world, as well as the Upper Worlds, are operated on a system above nature. Since that is the norm during these days, we're allowed to ask Hashem even for open miracles.
Everything is possible. We have Hashem involved and nothing is beyond His capabilities and we should never give up on anyone's life. During the rest of the year, we pray to Hashem to help us through the natural way of the world, but on Hanukah, according to the Shoel u'Meshiv, we can even ask Hashem to help us with open miracles.
