The Greatest Gift We Can Give Hashem
Having Emunah is not always easy, but לפום צערא אגרא - according to the effort is its reward. People with an ongoing problem have an opportunity to soar to the greatest spiritual heights. Every moment of Emunah that they have in their predicament could be worth more than years of Emunah from somebody without their problem. We don't ask to be tested; we pray not to be tested, but if the test does come, it's an opportunity for infinite greatness.
Seeing us happy brings joy to Hashem. And we have the ability to always be happy. Emunah is a win-win situation. If we work on ourselves to believe that Hashem is always doing best, even when it's so difficult to believe that, we'll be happier right now. And the reward we'll get for doing that will be so great, it will bring us eternal happiness. It's not easy, but nothing good comes easy. We can pray to Hashem for help to have Emunah. B'ezrat Hashem, we'll always trust Him and live life happily, the way He wants us to live!
