Parashat Noach: The Glory of Being a Tam

Parashat Noach: The Glory of a Jew
The Pasuk says in this week's Parasha, Noach: "נח איש צדיק תמים היה בדורותיו"- Noach was a Tzadik and a Tamim in his generations.
A Tam is a person who accepts the way that Hashem deals with him. Even when he's suffering hardship, he knows Hashem is doing to him exactly what is necessary for him to fulfill his purpose here, and so he accepts it with love. When things don't happen the way he hoped, he doesn't complain and ask why. Rather he trusts that Hashem knows better than him. This is a very high level to reach, especially when what's happening around a person doesn't seem to make any sense. But if he can rise to the challenge and trust in Hashem, he as well will be called a "Tamim" in his generation.
Shabbat Shalom!
