Overcoming Doubts About Hashem's Existence

There is something which holds people back from being more committed to Torah and Mitzvot - the doubts that they have in the back of their minds regarding the existence of Hashem. They are willing to observe to a certain degree because they know it's probably true, but there's some doubt which holds them back from making that full commitment.
Hashem does reward us for charity, but He doesn't do it the way that we think it has to be done. It never says that the money comes immediately. It never says that the money comes in the area that we want it to come in. If it would be readily obvious that people get paid back in abundance for the charity that they give, it would take away all of our free will.
Hashem doesn't reward us for results, He rewards us for efforts.
