Parashat Ha'azinu: Countless Salvations Await

Parashat Ha'azinu: Countless Yeshuot
In this week's Parasha, Ha'azinu, we read some of the final words of rebuke from Moshe Rabbenu. He told the people: " בנים לא אמון בם- they didn't have enough Emunah in Hashem." And the Midrash, on those words, writes "אל תקרי אמון אלא אמן-don't read the word Emunah, but rather, read the word Amen." They didn't value the word Amen enough, they didn't answer Amen when they should have.
We can't imagine the value of even one Amen. The Mitzvot that we were given are there for our benefit. Hashem doesn't need us to serve Him, He gives us the opportunity to serve Him so He could bless us even more. We look, sometimes, for different types of Segulot to help us attain what we want, but in reality, Hashem already gave us ways to obtain the greatest blessing, just by following the regular, simple Mitzvot.
Every Amen is powerful. Every Amen, Yehe sh'me raba is precious. Every Mitzvah is a diamond. If we just do the basics properly, like answering Amen and Amen, Yehe sh'me raba, in the words of the Chafetz Chaim, we'll see countless Yeshuot.
Shabbat Shalom
