Glory in the Exile: Longing for the Shechina
When it comes to physicality, Hashem helps us every step of the way from beginning to end. At times, He will even give a person a drive to make a hishtadlut to, let’s say, earn money or accomplish something else in the physical realms that He wants him to accomplish. But, when it comes to spirituality, that is where we must develop the will to achieve on our own and we must attempt to make the efforts to accomplish on our own. Only after that will Hashem give us His help in bringing our efforts success.
If we have the will and we make the effort, Hashem will take us the rest of the way.
If we have the will and we make the effort, Hashem will take us the rest of the way.
