A Global Reset: Starting Fresh on Rosh Hashanah

On Rosh Hashanah, the world was reset. Everything began anew. Just because Covid-19 plagued the world last year, doesn’t mean it has to have any effect this year. We ask Hashem תכלה שנה וקללותיה, let the year and its curses end. And we hope תחל שנה וברכותיה – that the New Year will begin with its blessings. Everything is still being decided during these days of Aseret Yameh Teshuva and Hashem gave us the ability to have influence on what will be decided. Our job now is repentance and good deeds.
Hashem could help us with anything. Even getting complete repentance. If we forgot what we need to make teshuva for, we could ask Hashem for help with that too. B’ezrat Hashem, we’ll accomplish what we need to in making teshuva, and we’ll have a wonderful blessed year.
