Fruits of Your Labor: The Impact of Helping Others
Fruits Of Your Labor
Sometimes people put in a great deal of time and energy to benefit others, whether it’s trying to raise money for charity or making programs to help bring people closer to Hashem. Not always do they see the results they were hoping for, and it could become stressful. Results are never on our control; it’s the efforts that matter most to Hashem. If we put in the effort, we were successful automatically. Sometimes, as a bonus, Hashem will give us the zechut to see some fruit of our labor.
It’s not about the quantity, it’s about the quality. When people act l’shem Shamayim, they’re always a success, regardless of the results they see. Sometimes Hashem lets us see the fruits of our labor, but if not now, we’ll eventually see them in the future.
