Weekly Parasha
Parashat Vayelech: A Time of Blessing
Parashat Vayelech: A Blessed Time
In this week's Parasha, Vayelech, Moshe Rabbenu begins to impart his final words to the Jewish People. He tells them to be strong and courageous and not fear their enemy because Hashem is with them and He'll never let go of them. Although later on in the Parasha, it says there will be a time when Hashem will hide Himself from us. That just means we won't be able to recognize His presence as before, but He's always, and will always, be together with us.
We live in a time when we could learn Torah and practice religion freely, Baruch Hashem. We have Sefarim available to us on any topic.
Our attitude towards anything can make such a difference. We should train ourselves to be people who always look to speak about the good, because everything can be viewed in the negative or the positive. If we can learn to become more positive and praise Hashem for everything He gave us, we will rise to the greatest spiritual heights.
Shabbat Shalom!
