Instant Results vs Patience: Finding Blessing in the Delay

It’s Always Mercy
There are people who are suffering from very difficult hardships, and they can’t imagine how it could possibly be good for them. They cry out to Hashem day and night, but don’t see any relief. They learned how merciful Hashem is and how He is their loving Father, and that is precisely why it is so difficult for them to comprehend that their Father would see them in such pain and not do anything about it.
We usually don’t get to see how in this world, but that just gives us the opportunity to do the great avodah of trusting in Hashem. No matter how cruel anything ever appears to be, we must know it is always Hashem’s unending mercy.
