Daily Chizuk #1116

The Torah tells in this week's parashah, Parashat Metzora, that when Beneh Yisrael would enter the Land of Israel, there will be times when a tzara'at affliction will strike the walls of a house. When this happens, the stones must be removed and the wall rebuilt. Rashi comments that this was actually a great blessing, because the nations that lived in Eretz Yisrael hid their valuables inside the walls of their homes. Once Beneh Yisrael would be living in those homes, a tzara'at infection on the walls would force them to break down the walls so they could find and take possession of these valuables and become wealthy.
One day, we will see how every bit of what appeared to be stress and aggravation was in truth hidden treasures given to us by Hashem. If a person can feel that way even now, and always say גם זו לטובה ("This, too, is for the best") and accept everything with a smile, knowing that Hashem always does only what is good, then he has reached the highest spiritual levels and will receive unimaginable rewards.
