If a person is called upon to help with the performance of a mitzvah or to be mezakeh the rabim, it is not by chance that he or she is the one being asked. It is Hashem orchestrating from above. Because this person has something unique that only he or she can contribute, it is an opportunity for the person to grow and rise to higher levels. There are so many factors that go into every opportunity that we are given in life, Hashem has millions of calculations of why and how things should happen the way they do, but the decision to grab the opportunity is completely up to us.
We should know whenever we're called upon, it's orchestrated from Hashem.
