Blink of an Eye: Navigating Frustration in Shidduchim
More Than Just Dollars
It is very common for people to look around and see other people’s blessings and feel bad that they aren’t sharing the same success. We tend to look at financial gain as the ultimate blessing and can’t help but wonder why people who aren’t observant are doing so well in that area. There is so much more to life than money. We have no idea what is going on in other people’s lives. Financial gains does not mean that the person is living a blessed life. The main rewards for our avodah are in the Next World. But even here, Hashem has so many meaningful ways of blessing people beyond what money could ever buy.
It is not always about money. There is so much more to life than just dollars and cents.
