Belief and Blessing: Hashem Controls the Livelihood

Everybody has those times when they are a little weak in emunah, but if they use the times to grow even stronger, then the weakness too will be fulfilling a great purpose. The pasuk says כי נפלתי קמתי– because I have fallen, I have gotten up. The midrash in Tehillim explains those words to be saying, if I wouldn’t have fallen first, I never would have gotten up to be where I am now. When a person falls in emunah and then strengthens himself, he will reach even higher levels of emunah than he had before the fall. The way to strengthen emunah is by feeding our brains words of emunah, either by listening to classes or by reading sefarim. Words of emunah are so powerful, the more we say them, the more positive effect they will have on ourselves, as well as others.
Every circumstance we are in is an opportunity to shine. Believing that Hashem put us there and saying pure words of emunah will always go a very long way.
