Too Small to Ask: Requesting the Trivial from G-d

The love that Hashem has for every single Jew is more than a parent could ever have for his only child. And just like Hashem’s love is unconditional, so too our love to others should be unconditional. If a child, lo alenu, has veered from the proper path, the parents still need to give that child warmth and love. Rav Gershon Edelstein, zatzal, was clear that the way to bring back wayward children is through acceptance and love. Every child knows what his parents really want from him. And if the parent is able to win the child over with love, b’ezrat Hashem, that child will eventually come back.
Love, acceptance and guidance is always the best way to go.
